Position Summary
The Information Technology Specialist 2 -Programming will serve as an applications, interfaces and configurations developer on the ERP Solutions team. The incumbent will work with end users and other stake holders to design, code, test and debug applications within the PeopleSoft and Workday platforms. In addition, the candidate will utilize web services to integrate PeopleSoft and Workday with various third-party applications.

Minimum Qualifications
EITHER: 1) Reachable on the Civil Service eligible list; OR 2) Eligible for reassignment by virtue of having permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 2-Programming (SG-18); OR 3) Eligible for transfer under the provisions of the Civil Service Law by virtue of having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title.
To be appointed via the NY HELPS program, you must meet the following requirements:
A bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science; or a bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field and one year of experience in information technology; or 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of experience in information technology; or two years of experience in information technology.
